In some cases, the team will refer you to oral surgeons with specialty training. Endodontists, periodontists, and prosthodontists offer intensive oral surgeries that might not be immediately available at Smile Dental.

The team at Smile Dental specializes in extractions, including pulling wisdom teeth. Extractions are often surgical because many require gum incisions to access an impacted tooth or a tooth’s root.

Smile Dental also offers root canals to treat inflammation or infection of the soft tissue within your tooth.

During this procedure, your dentist creates an opening in your tooth to get to the soft inner pulp. They remove the pulp and clean the newly empty inside of your tooth to get rid of any remaining bacteria before filling it with a latex compound and placing a crown.
